How does someone have regain after bariatric surgery?
I’ll tell you:
Life happens, and if you never received the mindset piece of weight loss in your bariatric program, that weight is going to come back… one extra bite at a time.
But the good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way.
When I learned about fat adaptation (changing your body’s fuel preference from glycogen to stored body fat), and then implemented it, the weight came off EFFORTLESSLY.
No, seriously. It has been soooo EASY and quick!
…And I’m still going!
Even better? My husband (also a post-op bariatric patient), Scott, has lost 40 pounds himself, and swears he’s never felt deprived and his thinking is clear, and his energy sky-high!
Empowered Membership Program:
In October 2018, I launched a beta version of my new membership program, the Empowered Members Club, and invited a small group of people to come and help me form it to meet your specific needs.
Fat adaptation has been working GREAT for me, but it was time to form the membership so that I could teach others how to do it for themselves too!
Over the past couple months, I have learned so much about individual learning styles and developing a system to help guide our members into being able to implement it for themselves.
“Why Isn’t This Free if We Can Get the Information Online?”
This is an objection I’ve received a couple of times.
We actually DO have a free version of this program, it just doesn’t have all the bells and whistles.
And if you believe the price is too much, I want to invite you to consider this question: Compared to what?
My husband and I have three kids. One trip to McDonald’s costs our family $39. No extras, just one meal each, and my husband and I only have the one bunless burger with no ketchup, no fries or drink. $39.26 to be precise.
Our membership program costs the same as ONE meal at McDonald’s for a family of five, and yet the VALUE is worth one hundred times the monthly membership fee.
Your membership fee enables both Scott and I to be here full-time, serving YOU.
Now what other bariatric membership out there offers that?
The reasons you WANT to pay for Empowered Members Club are these:
Investing in yourself is the most important investment you will make. We have learned that people who get into a free program never do the work, because they haven’t invested in themselves.
Yes, your friends are supportive, which is great, but it’s not enough. You need a guide to help you get out of your own way so you can reach your goals more efficiently.
There are a million free support groups online for bariatric patients, but they are unmoderated. We started our own after seeing so many be bullied if someone didn’t agree with them. We don’t tolerate any negativity.
In those free support groups, you may fall between the cracks. No one knows your name, no one notices when you are not showing up. In Empowered Members Club, we are grouping into small accountability groups where believe me, you will be noticed if you are not showing up. In fact, you are about to meet a group of people who may be strangers to you now, but have the potential of being your lifelong best friends.
Remember, we are all about “accelerated”/efficient results, and having the RIGHT social group is going to motivate you and energize you to keep going! Your accountability group is going to help you see the blindspots and help you troubleshoot stalls and mental blocks.
Fat Adaptation and “Keto for Bariatrics”
The majority of people find us because they are searching for keto for bariatric patients to see if it’s a good fit for them for losing excess weight.
Our research as to why low-carb diets work best for bariatric patients is science-backed. Inside the membership, we will teach you the science behind fat adaptation, and we will show you how to customize the keto diet for your bariatric needs, because it is a bit different than the classic keto approach.
Our Mobile App:
My husband and business partner, Scott, is currently building from scratch our own tracking mobile app. He has built business solutions for many of the largest corporations around the world, so I’m super excited that he is here with me, building an app customized for YOU. (See membership comparison chart below for more details.)
Monday – Friday, I flip on the live camera in our Empowered Members Club Facebook Group (which is set to “secret”, by the way, in case you are not out to your family and friends about having had bariatric surgery).
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I teach a HIIT class (High-Intensity Interval Training), and on Tuesday and Thursdays, I teach a weightlifting class. I will explain to you in the membership why these two exercise modalities are SUPER effective for the post-op bariatric patient. (Or any average Jill or Joe, really!)
…And this is JUST the Beginning!
As we go, as we receive your feedback, and we learn more about the specific needs of our fellow post-op bariatric patients, we will continually improve your experience.
As we do so, as more features are added on, membership fees are going to eventually go up (we will be bringing on a staff, after all), so PLEASE do yourself a favor and lock in the current rate.
The rate you purchase today is the low rate that you will have forever, as long as you remain a member in good standing.
DOORS OPEN ONE WEEK ONLY.
Doors open one week only, from January 1 – January 8, 2019, and they only open a few times a year.
We do this for several reasons, but the two main reasons are these:
1. You will take this program to heart.
2. We can focus our energy 100% on serving you, and not out trying to market the program to recruit more people in. Once doors close, we are all about YOU.
Membership Comparison Chart:
Below are the different tiers of memberships we offer, and what is included:
Our premium tier, the Empowered Members Club, is available to you no matter what stage you are at, so long as you are a post-op bariatric patient. (The only exception is my mom. I love you, Mom!)
