- 3 slices bacon check label for added sugar and preservatives, if desired.Guacamole (optional)
- Preheat skillet over medium heat.While the skillet is heating, use kitchen shears to cut bacon into 2" inch pieces (they shrink while cooking!).Just before adding bacon to the skillet, add to skillet about a tablespoon of oil of your choice (bacon grease, olive oil, or coconut oil) to keep bacon from sticking to the pan. Note: I always save leftover bacon grease in a jar for times like these!As bacon is cooking, turn with tongs as needed until they are to your liking. Place bacon onto a plate with paper towels to remove the excess grease. Let cool.Serve with guacamole or dip of your choice!
